Financial Records

Detailed records must be kept regarding the financials of the conference. This includes:

  • Keeping a finance spreadsheet (template available) up to date and available to the Exec
  • Keeping electronic copies of all receipts and invoices related to expenses and income

The spreadsheet template includes a sample that identifies some common mistakes. For example, when reimbursing an expense, the description is not "Refund for Ben" but should describe the item purchases, i.e. "Network cables". Similarly the Company should not be "Ben" but rather "Office Works".
