Feeds

  • Paul Fenwick collected RSS/Atom feeds related to osdc, to post on http://jaiku.com/channel/OSDC . If you have a feed, or wish to join jaiku (a microblogging service), please post it here or let Paul know.
  • Adam Harvey (LawnGnome on IRC) is working on getting a Planet set up for those old-fashioned folk who still prefer full blog posts instead of microblogging. More information will be posted if and when it's up.

Meetups/Developer Groups

  • Steve Dalton is shouting out to anyone at OSDC from the Gold Coast. He's interested in setting up a new Gold Coast developer group - not sure if this will be just a RoR? group or something wider... depends on how many people get in touch. Email s <at> dalts <dot> com

Presentations Notes

Kevin Littlejohn

Kevin mentioned Paul Fenwick's talk on starting an open source business. A video of this talk from LCA 2007 can be found at http://mirror.linux.org.au/pub/linux.conf.au/2007/video/talks/322.ogg . Paul would love this to end up on YouTube?, but hasn't bothered to check the licensing on the video.

[SD - I checked this - but it's going to take some chopping to fit it on youtube so probably not worth it]
